The present empirical research was developed with magistrates of Labor Justice of a certain Court, aiming to know, from the perception of the judges themselves, the reality they experienced regarding the quality of life at work (QWL). The relevance of this survey is the opportunity to learn about the working conditions faced, in order to provide improvements. The survey data were obtained through the application of a research instrument from January 15th-17th, 2020. The questionnaire was prepared based on Walton's QWL model (1973), except for the adaptations made to the theoretical model, having achieved 104 respondents, that is, 40.15% of a universe of 259 labor judges working in the 1st degree. And as a result of the research, it was evidenced that there is a certain malaise in the service, due to the high volume of work, the excessive demands for institutional goals, and the inadequate working conditions - which points to a situation of poor quality of life at work and occupational illness around 28%, demanding attention and preventive measures in favor of health and work, since the stressors identified have a permanent impact.
