This work originates from my Master’s research in the field of Human Rights at the Faculty of Law of Universidade de São Paulo. The research, which is interdisciplinary, involving Anthropology and Law, aims to investigate and discuss the interactions between employees of the legal system and lawyers/trainees in the courthouse’s desks. The focus of this brief article is to reflect upon data obtained in the field, as well as to pounder on its relationship to the fundamental right of access to justice, the initial impulse of my research.
